aTTENTION mAPS

Understand what shapes your attention — and learn to design the conditions that help it thrive.

A practical, evidence-informed course that gives you a new way to understand and work with your attention.

Book the course

Understand

Discover what attention is, how it works, and why difficulties with attention aren't simply about motivation or willpower.

Explore

Map the personal, environmental and situational factors that shape where your attention goes.

Experience

Try practical approaches to designing better conditions for attention — and identify what works for you.

Attention isn't just about willpower.

When attention is difficult, we're often told to try harder, remove distractions or be more disciplined. But attention doesn't happen in a vacuum.

Where we are, what we're doing, how we're feeling, what matters to us and what else is competing for our attention can all change what we're able to attend to.

Attention Maps gives you a way to step back from “Why can't I just concentrate?” and ask a more useful question: “What's shaping my attention here?”
